The Action
The Twelve Powers of Man PDF Print E-mail

THE SUBCONSCIOUS realm in man has twelve great centers of action, with twelve presiding egos or
identities. When Jesus had attained a certain soul development, He called His twelve apostles to Him. This means that when man is developing out of mere personal consciousriess irito spiritual consciousness, he begins to train deeper and larger powers; he sends bis thought down into the inner centers of his organism, and through his word quickens them to life. Where before bis powers have workid in the personal, now they begin to exp and and work in the universal. This is the first and the second coming of Christ, spoken of in the Script ures. The first coming is the receiving of Truth into the conscious mmd, and the Second Coming is the awakening and the regeneration of the subcons cious mmd through the superconscious or Christ Mind.
Man expands and grows under divine evolution as an industrial plant grows. As the business exp ands, it is found that system is necessary. Instead of one man’s being able to do the vork with the ass istance of a few helpers he requires many helpers. Instead of a few helpers, he needs hundreds; and in order to promote efficiency he must have heads.

By our suffering might be their forgiveness From Slaveship to Championship

Great God, head of the Universe, wlth peace, judgement and Justice you watch over the way of humanity, and in Iove you know each of us by name. Lift those who are put down by Poverty and engaged in the conflict, be It far or near in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, or the Americas. Remember the poor, the oppressed, the hungry, the Jobless:, the prisoners, the sick and the shut-In, the uneducated whose needs aren’t being heard. Prevent us from neglectlng their voices and help us te show love by working for the spirits of the ancestors. Prevent us from oppressing and make us do something to show helpful love.

Amen
